The 2014 series is here!

Online entry is now open over at XCracer.com and you can read the low-down about the series here. Enter a round before the 31st March and get a personalized race plate – how cool is that!

The 2014 series is presented by the following clubs/teams: Matlock CC, Bolsover & District CC, Torq Performance, Bewdley Outdoors and Bridgnorth CC. It is the time and effort they put in that enables the series to take place.

Important changes to note:

  • 3 rounds of XCE (Cross-Country Eliminator)
  • Youth and Juveniles now race on the full course
  • Junior men now race in the afternoon
  • The Super Vets and Open categories have been reinstated
  • Best 4 results from 7 count towards the series standings
  • Sorry, no Marathon this year, maybe 2015…

Where do we go from here? Now the dust has settled and the nights are drawing in, it’s time to look ahead to 2014. What changes would you like to see? How can we make things better? The series is put together by riders, for riders and without the help of Naked Bikes RT, Bolsover & District CC, Bewdley Outdoors, Club Goldtec, Ride Sheffield and Team Torq Performance to each host a round, the series wouldn’t have taken place.

So, are you part of a club who can match the slick organisation of B&DCC, or do you have a venue in mind that has singletrack as good as Eastridge? Then get in touch via twitter, facebook, email or in person :-)
